Whitehaven Greg Reserve Sauvignon Blanc 2015

This is a special selection reserve wine named in honour of Greg White the late founder of the winery which is today managed by his widow Sue. It is well structured and quite mineral with aromas and flavours of gooseberry and guava fruit with spearmint, peapod and lemon tones. It is rich in fruit with firm underlying acid that will soften in time as it better integrates. I suggest another year of bottle age will help. Best 2017 to 2019. Score - 89.
