Villa Cafaggio Cortaccio 2007

A big Tuscan cabernet highly drinkable right now. A little burnt sugar and cedar enhances the fruit on the palate which is beginning to dry out. A charming, mature find still with a good deal of personality. Both juicy and oxidative, a somewhat odd sensation on the palate but not unwelcome.
