Turkey Flat Butchers Block Shiraz/Grenache/Mourvèdre 2015

This wine punches above its weight [at this price point] - the luscious black cherry and hedgerow fruits do a good job of making it seem twice the price. Sultry black pepper, sweet spice, baked strawberry, currants and liquorice all mingle in the swirling, inky sea. This is deep, but is supple rather than dense. Drinking Window: 2017-2022. Score - 92.
