Perpetua Chardonnay 2015
750mL bottleThis is the first Perpetua not all made from Osoyoos fruit. It 25% Naramata. This is also the first Perpetua by Darryl Brooker, and it was 1/3 fermented in concrete egg, the rest in French oak aged 15 months sur lie. It has gorgeous, creamy complex nose with apple, almond butter, some cedary spice and light smoke. It is full bodied, creamy and a bit hot. A bigger yet balanced style, with outstanding focus and length. Best 2018 to 2022. Last tasted November 2017 when it took silver in the Gold Medal Plates Best of Show Competition in Ottawa.
