Miras Jovem Trousseau Nouveau 2015

This unique wine's translucent ruby colour conceals a surprise on the palate. But first on the nose, it has a beautifully complex fruity aroma in which currant, blueberry, strawberry, guava and cherry can be detected, along with earthy, minty, and herbal notes. On the palate, for a wine of such delicate colour, it has an unexpectedly robust tannic structure, with balanced fruit-forwardness and freshness, with a bit of sweetness too. These sensations persist on the long finish.
