Matahiwi Estate Pinot Noir 2016

This is fairly deeply coloured pinot with quite rich, ripe aromas of pure raspberry jam and subtle oak and minty herbs. It is medium bodied fairly dense, juicy and intense on the palate, with fine dusty tannin. All kinds of fruit expression here, with some heat. Very good to excellent length. Tasted June 2018.
