Marchand-Tawse Morey-Saint-Denis Clos des Ormes 1er Cru 2013

A wonderfully fresh and admirably pure nose offers up notes of red currant, dried flowers and discreet earth hints. There is a lilting and very supple mouth feel to the middle weight flavors that deliver solid length on the linear and ever-so-mildly strict finish. This isn't generous but it is well-focused.
