The blend changes quite a lot every year, and in 2011 it was 35% Cabernet Franc, 30% Carménère, 25% Syrah and 20% Petit Verdot. Even though 2010 was a very good year, I see more freshness and poise in this 2011; the aromas are subtler and the tannins are definitely finer. The wine comes through as better balanced with a long, persistent finish.
