A vein of smoky minerality adds support to fleshy black raspberry and bitter cherry flavors that turn livelier and spicier as the wine opens up. Manages to be both powerful and graceful and finishes very long, with building sweetness and a suave, lingering suggestion of candied flowers. Drinking window: 2019-2025. Score - 92.
