The 2012 Selección is obviously a selection from their best vineyards, mostly Tempranillo with 20% Graciano aged mostly in French barriques (75%) for some 16 months. This is officially a 'Reserva'. The wine is oaky, ripe and concentrated in a style that would please many. Modern, with plenty of tannins to be rendered by time in bottle. Very good in its style. Drink date: 2016-2022. Score - 91.
