Fumanelli Squarano Valpolicella Classico Superiore 2014

The Marchesi Fumanelli family has cultivated grapes and produced wines from their estate for 28 generations, dating back to 1470. The Squarano Estate, where this wine is grown and hand-harvested, is situated in the heart of Valpolicella on a gentle hilltop surrounded by vineyards and cherry and cypress trees. The wine offers ripe, lush red fruit, cedar and floral notes caressed by supple tannins. (Vintages panel, May 2017)
