Fielding Pinot Gris 2014

Winemaker Richie Roberts crafted yet another cool-climate beauty in this, a challenging vintage. Floral, piquant spice, honeydew melon and orchard fruit aromas herald a palate-bathing wash of juicy, fresh fruit flavours - green apple, poached pear, Key lime and lemony tang. It broadens out on the back palate with softer pit fruit - peach and yellow plum. It's medium weight with good texture and deft balance unfolding into a crisp and lip-smacking aftertaste.
