Chanson Père & Fils Chassagne-Montrachet 2014

Here the deftly oaked nose is comprised primarily of white orchard fruit though there are some background notes of petrol and rosemary resin. There is exceptionally good richness and volume to the sappy medium weight flavors that possess a very dry and lengthy lemon-infused finish that offers very fine power for a villages level wine. This isn't nearly as stylish as the Puligny but based on the quality it's also worth checking out plus it will age if desired. Drink 2021+. Outstanding. Score - 89.
