Cave Spring Estate Chardonnay 2016

This is a quite fine, elegant lighter style of chardonnay with well meshed apple, spice and citrus front and centre, and oak well in the background - a style Ontario can do well, and should do more often. It is very well balanced and well fruited with a hint of sweetness upfront but a dry clean finish. Very good length. Score - 89. (David Lawrason, winealign.com, June 14, 2018)
