Bruichladdich Distillery produces single malt scotch whisky from 100% Scottish Barley from the mainland and Isle of Islay and distilled in Islay by local artisans. Bruichladdich produces whisky only for Bruichladdich (every barrel is matured and bottled on Islay) and are focused on small-scale bottlings and production; none is sold to blenders. The Black Art 4.1 Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky is aged 23 years, in the very finest American and French Oak. Bruichladdich Black Art 4.1 Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky is sweet, fruity, with a mellow oak finish. Aroma has notes of chocolate and coconut, tangerine and papaya and a wonderful infusion of barley sugar with a pinch of cinnamon and aniseed.
