Brampton Sauvignon Blanc 2016

The 2016 growing season was one of the hottest and driest in nearly 30 years and led to an earlier-than-typical harvest. The Sauvignon Blanc for this wine was hand-picked in the cool of the early morning to preserve freshness and sourced from sites in Stellenbosch and Simonsberg-Paarl, imparting grassy notes and lifted tropical fruit tones, respectively. Aromatic, with green pea, dried grass, lemon, grapefruit and lime, with a chalky mineral undertone. Try this with grilled asparagus or with grilled trout with sage and lemon.
