Bovin Venus 2015

A lush and juicy blend with two grape varieties that complement each other well. Pours a lovely purplish hue that is quite opaque. Fleshy and accessible, with notes of both red and black fruit. Fruit takes center stage. Modern and widely appealing with notes of red apple and purple plum, flavours often found in the indigenous vranec grape varietal. Just a touch reductive so aerate when opening for optimum enjoyment. Dry, good acidic structure, pure, revealing and full-bodied. Tasted December 2017. Score - 89.
