Borsao Tres Picos Garnacha 2016

Tres Picos is as lush and rich in fruit as ever plus one step deeper into the vanilla and lavender of wood. The modernity is at an all time high, the garnacha at optimum extraction and ripeness. The trend towards incorporating syrah continues but in this young wine varietal seems secondary to the bigger points of fruit and tannin. This may be an entry level Campo de Borja but its attitude and confidence is as high as Moncayo. Drink 2018-2022. Score - 88. (Michael Godel, winealign.com, April 8, 2018)
