Tullamore Irish Whiskey

Ten years in used bourbon barrels add to the profile of this dram. Pale gold; your nose will find aromas of ripe pear, toasted oak, caramel, citrus peel and white pepper; on the palate, it is warming, with a light sweetness and medium body; flavours of tree fruit, caramel, citrus and toasted almond play on a long finish.

Bushmills Malt 10 Year Old Irish Whiskey

A blend of pot still and fine grain whiskeys, this is as versatile as it is smooth. Bright pale amber with subtle aromas of white flower, nectarine, tinned pears and clove. Mellow and approachable, flavours include spicy vanilla, wildflower honey, ginger and heather with a gentle alcohol integration.

Jameson Irish Whiskey

A blend of pot still and fine grain whiskeys this is as versatile as it is smooth. Bright pale amber; subtle aromas of white flower, nectarine, tinned pears and clove; mellow and approachable, flavours include spicy vanilla, wildflower honey, ginger and heather, with a gentle alcohol integration.

Nose: a glossy Pot Still character: rather than the usual fruity firmness, the recognizable Pot Still traits are shrouded in soft honey tones which dovetail with lightening kumquat-citrus tones. Quite a curious, but always deliciously appealing animal; Taste: works beautifully well: the arrival is an alternating delivery of hard and soft waves, the former showing a more bitter, almost myopic determination to hammer home its traditional Pot Still standpoint; the sweeter, more yielding notes dissolve with little or no resistance, leaving an acacia honeyed trail; towards the middle a juicier malt element mingles with soft vanilla ... Writers' Tears Copper Pot Irish Whiskey

Charred bourbon barrels deliver more concentrated spice, nutty notes and vanilla sweetness, while the sherry casks add flavours of nectarines, apricot  and ripe apple. It pours gold and offers pronounced aromas of cereal, toffee, and citrus peel : smooth palate with flavours of toffee, citrus and toasted oak followed by a long finish.

Jameson Black Barrel

Left to mature in selected American oak where it develops a spicy/rounded flavour. Bright amber/gold; aromas of baking spices, vanilla, toasted oak and citrus, with notes of  pepper and sweet grain; light honey and cereal on the palate, with a pleasing warmth followed by toffee, spice, tree fruit and ginger notes.

Powers Gold Irish Whiskey

Inside the distinct, black hexagonal bottle is a bright golden spirit with warming aromas of toffee, marzipan, citrus, allspice and hints of dark chocolate. On the palate flavours of dried fruit and oak shine through, a direct result of ageing in Oloroso Sherry casks; the finish is smooth and supple with a kiss of sweetness

Kilbeggan Irish Whiskey

Medium amber in the glass, with copper highlights. Maturation in bourbon barrels contributes to a nose of caramel, vanilla, spice and toasted oak. The palate finely balanced, with flavours that build slowly - an initial impression of dryness evolves to light sweetness with spicy notes and a warm peppery finish.

The Irishman Founders Reserve

Orange-tinged medium deep yellow colour. Somewhat peppery, slightly spicy, dusty, dried apple-lemon-plum nose. Dry, medium bodied, peppery, spicy, vanilla-tinged, ripe, plum-lemon-apple flavours with a lingering, high acid, nutty, caramel-tinged finish. Screwcap closure. Has 46% alcohol. Score - 90.
